SOVEREIGN OMNISCIENCE
I Chronicles 29:2: “Now with all my ability I have provided for the house of my God the gold for the things of gold, and the silver for the things of silver, and the bronze for the things of bronze, the iron for the things of iron, and wood for the things of wood, onyx stones and inlaid stones, stones of antimony and stones of various colors, and all kinds of precious stones and alabaster in abundance.”

The following is the Webster’s 2022 Collegiate definition of “antimony” – Antimony: “a trivalent and pentavalent metalloid element with atomic number 51 that commonly occurs in a brittle, metallic, silvery white crystalline form and that is used especially in alloys, semiconductors, and flame-retardant substances”

Physical and Chemical Properties
- State: Solid at room temperature.
- Appearance: Shiny, bluish-white, and flaky.
- Texture: Very brittle and easily powdered.
- Conductivity: Poor conductor of heat and electricity.
- Source: Found mainly in the sulfide mineral stibnite (Sb₂S₃)
Common Uses
- Flame Retardants: Antimony trioxide is added to plastics, textiles, and children’s items to prevent fires.
- Batteries: Mixed with lead to make stronger, longer-lasting car batteries.
- Alloys: Combined with other metals for use in solder, bearing metals, and pewter.
- Electronics: Used in semiconductors and infrared detectors.
Consider that which is beyond human comprehension apart from the enabling of the redeeming grace of the Holy Spirit, the amazing, infinite, uncreated, always existent, transcendently Sovereign Creator mind of God that providentially included in the materials for the construction of His place of dwelling, “stones of antimony”. And why is this of such eternal significance? The answer to that question lies in the fact of the existence of one particular attribute of “stones of antimony”. Stones of antimony, in God’s Omniscient, Omnipotent, always Omnipresent glorious creative mind, inherently contain a flame retardant trioxide based capacity. Trioxides promote a protective carbonaceous char layer in the solid phase that insulates the underlying material from heat and oxygen, thus the quality of fire retardancy is achieved. How profoundly amazing & majestically, humanly inexpressible is the reality of God’s Sovereignly ordained providential, completely practical protection of His holy dwelling from the potential of fire via “stones of antimony” – Psalm 50:21; Isaiah 55:8.
Psalm 50:21: “These things you have done and I kept silence; you thought that I was just like you; I will reprove you and state the case in order before your eyes.”
Isaiah 55:8: “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord.”
