God’s Purpose of His Law

The Law of God & its purpose of/in the scheme of redemptive love:

Roms. 3:19  “Now we know that whatever the Law says, it says to those who are under the Law, so that every mouth may be closed and all the world may become accountable to God…..”. In v19, “those” refers to who? — Who is under the Law of God? All persons of all time in all places in all the universe — Acts 17:26(24-28).

The Law never was efficacious; it, along with the entire Old Testament, old covenant sacrificial system, was nothing more than a symbol of the coming of the New & real, ultimately(by God) intended covenant of redemptive love, mercy, & grace foreordained in that radiantly sinless, holy counsel room of Heaven, by the Trinitarian Counsel of the Godhead — Father, Son, & Holy Spirit, before time began — Ephs 1:3-14; 2:8-10; Roms 8:28- 30; Titus 1:1-2; II Tim 1:9; Hebs 11:39-40; Gen 3:15.

Roms 3:19-20…..” Now we know that whatever the Law says, it speaks to those who are under the Law, so that every mouth may be closed and all the world may become accountable to God; 20  because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin.”
